Spent the most of today reflecting on some things. I ended up spending the entire evening drawing a sketch of Christ, inspired by a picture of James Caviezel as Jesus. This is probably one of the fastest portraits I have done.. but guess i just felt so inspired to draw one of Him. I have always drawn pictures of friends, heroes, and movie stars... but never have I done one of Him. I also watched "Bruce Almighty" with my sis.. never really watched it b4 even tho it has been ard for a while. Guess what caught my attention the most is the part about how we are always praying for miracles or for God to do things for us, when actually many of us have the power within us to "be the miracle". To make the difference in our lives and other people's lives. And how we will be truly happy and satisfied when we start caring more for other people rather than be so concerned about what we want, what we wish for, and what we need. A perfect reminder for me. Anyways, me gonna go do some light studying now...
