An Endless Stream of Consciousness

I am way too emotional. Really I am.

Why does life work out this way? Whenever we want to spend more time with our closed ones, we aren't allowed the opportunity to do so. Why oh why?

1. I love you mom. Please take care of urself during the next few weeks whilst travelling abroad. Will miss you loads and loads!!

2. I love you Cathy dearest... I'll have u constantly in my thoughts over the next couple of weeks as well.

3. And you too dad. We may not exactly be like bossom buddies, but for all that God has given me, you are one of the best gifts too. Love ya pops!

4. My dearest Jie Jie in Toronto. Thank you for ur thoughtful gift... even if it is ur way to indirectly "tompang" ZB's gift too hiakz! ;) Missing you badly. Can't wait to go back there and hang out with you some day. Sadly it won't be soon. But it will happen. I am determined it will. take care in the meantime...

5. Have a safe flight next week ZB my bro... get ur job done and bring ur cute little monkey ass back to S'pore so i can see more of u.. still havent had the chance to hang out with my bro as much as i would like. But we are all very restricted with time so i guess we'll just leave this to God for now.

I miss Toronto. I don't know why but this week I've been thinking a lot more about my time back in T.O. Even talked to ZB abt it. Glad to know that we are both on the same boat. He said that even now he misses his time there too. Even though he still visits once in a while, it'll never replace the feeling he had as a student staying @ 159 Beverley St with his pals. I guess as much as we would like to go back in time and relive everything again, that's not possible... that's what makes life so special. Many experiences are really once in a lifetime.

Anyways, nostalgia aside... i can't believe it's already been over a week since my POP. In a few days time i'll have to report to my next unit. A bit sianz... i mean why does time have to fly by when u r enjoying urself *sigh*

nonetheless, i've heard a lot of stories about OCS from my bro-in-law and cousin. apparently, as shiong as it may seem, it'll still be a lot of fun. i just hope that if i do get posted to OCS as most ppl expect, i will be able to come through it and look back on it the same way. :P Life certainly has it's ups and downs.

Was supposed to play soccer with my Cat High buds this afternoon.. but thanks to my cousin and his pals yesterday, that won't be happening anymore. don't recall my leg feeling this sore. feels worse when i bend my leg... oh well. wouldn't wanna jeopardize my chances so don't think i'll be going for soccer today.

Finally passed out of BMT today... gonna enjoy this next week and a half of block leave.. heh. but at the same time i'm gonna miss a helluva lot of life in BMT. didnt realize it till this afternoon when we all left our coy line and headed for the parade square. all my BMT buddies too. especially my section mates... these memories are gonna stay with me for life.

Anyways, the POP went by rather smoothly.. no big cock-ups or anything like that. had a great day. I was also awarded the Platoon Best Trainee. I was up for the Company Best Award too... down to the last two recruits.. me and Nidhar (the Platoon 2 Best trainee), but for some reason he won it although my PC and sergeants told me I had the best overall score and performance so they expected me to win. But nevertheless, I am still happy. So happy to see my parents just now. And ZB. And my darling who was so sweet and took half day leave just to attend my graduation.

Anyways, Cat had to go for Yoga class so i had dinner with my family and came back. Now gonna have a massage session soon. gotta go get ready.. hiakz!
