Friday's Here!
Arrived at work today expecting the same old boring routine at my desk. But to my surprise, i was suddenly thrown a couple of assignments to do. EDB needed some statistical info regarding MNCs in Singapore and the breakdown of their numbers by region etc. So i had to make calls back and forth since no one was sure where we got our numbers from. As such it turned out that I had to make a call to Kompass International for the numbers. After all the hassle i finally got it sorted out and submitted the numbers. Job done... at least for now.
ARMY "DAZE"??
Received an SMS from my sis informing me that CMPB were looking for me. I returned their call and found out from the lady that i talked to that she could still send me my enlistment letter soon and start BMT on October 1st if i passed my NAPFA test within the next two weeks. If i missed this one then i’d have to wait until mid December or January. This kinda put me on the spot. First of all, I am currently working, where can i find the time to take the NAPFA?? heck, even my "supposed" nightly training at the gym and running has been sporadic... Secondly, GES 2004 is in mid October, and if I want my CV to be as good as i hoped, i def. have to stay till the end of that event before i leave for NS. what sux tho is that I would hve to wait till December or January if I missed the October intake. Another few months down the drain. Oh well. I told her of my dilemna and i'm now left with the Dec/Jan. option. What to do?
