Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

Had my haircut on Saturday at Holland V. To be honest. I think it sucks. It's way much shorter than I would've liked. But then i should've known what was coming. The last time this guy did my hair it had the same result. Maybe he likes short hair or smthg. Now my head kinda looks like a duck's ass... short hair all around with a tuft of grass at the top and a duck's tail coming off the front... what the #@$(*!$ manz!! sighz... neways.... he's a nice guy so i should prob calm down. plus i guess it'll grow out in a while. Went out for lunch with mom and sis at Shaw Tower. My sis is going back to T.O. this wednesday so we're like trying to spend as much time together as a family as possible. In the afternoon I went off to meet Elvin and Weichuen. We watched "Harold and Kumar" which was very corny, but the bottom line is that it was friggin' HILARIOUS! loved it to bits. Weichuen and Elvin thought so too. Then went to grandma's place at nite for our weekly family gathering. Felt very lethargic and drifted off into a deep sleep that night.

Goal-den Sunday

Had another soccer match yesterday @ the Telecom field at 5pm. Good news is, we had a much better referee this week! Amazingly, we ran off winners again with the identical scoreline as the week before (5-3), although this time it was against a diff team. I had thought that with the score being 4-2 at halftime, that the final score would've gone into double figures lol. This time I bagged myself a hattrick, with James and Tuan chipping in with the other two goals. What a game it was, especially the first half... chances were aplenty, and it was non-stop action. In fact I scored our first goal in the first minute of the game.

After that goals were going in back and forth. I liked my second goal best amongst my three however: there was a bit of a scramble between James and the defender before i stepped up and let fly a left footed shot from the edge of the penalty area that flew into the roof of the net. :) Tuan's goal was a real cracker as well, a volley from outside the area that dipped over their keeper into the corner of the net. :) On a damper note our keeper Nicholas had to go to hospital after he received a nasty gash on his face through colliding into one of their strikers during a set piece. Think he required stitches as it was a deep cut but good to hear he's recovering.
