a friend of mine recently mentioned that i have not updated my blog since the end of last year. the first question that popped into my head was, "has it really been THAT long?" it's hard to imagine, but the last couple of months have been nothing short of busy. since my life started at my new unit, there has been just so many things--things to take over from my upper-study, prep for all the FTXs, alert red duty, things to settle for ATEC etc.
to a certain extent i keep asking myself why am i posted to 3 guards. of all places, god has chosen this place for me. but more often than not, i do not even have time to ask myself this question. "BSO!!" is the word i heard shouted at me with increasing frequency. and i am starting to realize what the acronym really means. instead of Battalion Signal Officer, i am thinking that Battalion Sai-kang officer is more apt.
well, to be honest, i am not even in the mood to do a proper blog with my mind already on the week ahead. so i guess that's all for now. perhaps when the pace slows down a little i can summarize what i have done during this period of time better. but till then, i do not even have any pictures or stories to show and tell. am missing all my frens!
before i go, i guess i should just bring up something. for those of you who do not know yet, i am engaged. on feb 12, my wonderful fiance agreed to my proposal. nothing can explain how happy i felt at that moment. i guess in that very moment, i just felt out of this world. i can't wait for life to begin after N.S. Thanks to all of you who have shown ur support for us during the past year and a half. on behalf of cathy and myself, i wanna say that your support means a lot to us.
