aries" John,
It might be a good idea to divide up the tasks on your desk. You should be able to find a great deal more support today. Your colleagues are starting to listen to your ideas and opinions. Take advantage of the receptive audience"

Hah! yeah right. This was the astrology prediction for me on Friday 5 Oct. Couldn't have been more wrong... if this was true I wouldn't have spent the evening at my office yesterday being one-man production line churning out envelope after envelope of info pack for the dumb fat princess event... from officer to man-mode.

I really don't understand some ppl. I know you are supposed to protect your subordinates- in some cases so that they are not arrowed to do things not within their job scope. But for @$&# sake we are all from the same dept./div and it is something that your staff is able to do, so why push it off to someone else? and since it is a job where it is so hard to claim credit but with tonnes of shit I end up with no choice but to volunteer myself. Worse still was when that person found out I volunteered myself, she still had the guts to tell me "oh john, how could you be doing this? i think you should get one of your staff to do this". Fine, mock me. I would do the usual delegating of work to my staff if this wasn't such a big project and it wasn't my head that is on the chopping board for it. Or in this case, I did not leave it to someone else because I chose to take on the responsibility of the project, so I won't let other ppl take the shit.

With the exception of one gal colleague of mine no one really helped much or gave a damn. "I am busy ah... paiseh" or "Sorry, I would help but I have other things to do" are some common answers.

So ironic. Does it seem to them that I am free and this is the only project I have? And for crying out loud this is a SIN station project, not a John project! Hah... anyways, never believed in horoscopes anyway. And after this total mishit, don't thing I ever will...
